Lamb of God have officially announced their tenth studio album, Into Oblivion, set for release on March 13, 2026 via Epic Records in the USA and Canada and Century Media Records in Europe. The record marks the band’s first full length release in four years and finds the Richmond metal veterans operating with complete creative freedom.
Alongside the announcement, the band have released the album’s title track, Into Oblivion, accompanied by an official music video directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts. The song is as punishing and direct as fans would expect, pairing Lamb of God’s signature groove driven aggression with psychologically charged and socially confrontational lyrics.
According to guitarist Mark Morton, the album represents a conscious rejection of outside expectations. He explains that Into Oblivion is about reclaiming creative space and focusing solely on making music the band believes in, without chasing trends or external pressure.
Vocalist Randy Blythe offers an even bleaker perspective on the album’s title and themes, describing it as a reflection of the rapid erosion of the social contract, particularly in the United States. Lyrically, the album confronts moral decay, normalization of extremism and a world drifting further into chaos.

A Record Rooted In Legacy, But Unbound By It
Produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur, Into Oblivion was recorded across several meaningful locations. Drums were tracked in Richmond, Virginia, guitars and bass at Mark Morton’s home studio, while Blythe recorded vocals at the legendary Total Access Studio in Redondo Beach, California, known for its role in shaping early American punk history.
The album features 10 tracks, blending classic Lamb of God groove with expanded dynamics and atmosphere. Previous singles Sepsis and Parasocial Christ already hinted at the record’s range, from slow burning heaviness inspired by the early Richmond underground to short, violent bursts of classic Lamb of God intensity.
