Reports suggest that Metallica  are edging closer to one of the most ambitious live projects of their career. According to a new report from the UK press, the band is said to be “90 percent” through negotiations for a Las Vegas Sphere residency planned for 2027 , following the conclusion of their massive M72  world tour in mid 2026. While no official confirmation has been made, sources claim that discussions with Sphere executives and technical teams are already well underway
