Finnish metal trailblazers Lost Society are officially back. The band have announced their brand new studio album Hell Is A State Of Mind, set for release on March 6, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Alongside the album announcement, Lost Society have unleashed the first official single and music video, Blood Diamond, offering a powerful first look at what is shaping up to be their most fearless and uncompromising record to date.
Four years after If The Sky Came Down, the band return with an album that fully embraces modern metal aggression, sharp songwriting and a bold, unapologetic identity. Hell Is A State Of Mind finds Lost Society sounding heavier, more confident and more confrontational than ever.
‘Blood Diamond’: The Song That Changed Everything

‘Blood Diamond’ played a key role in defining the direction of the album. What started as a simple musical idea quickly evolved into something far bigger, transforming into a cinematic and emotionally charged track with dramatic string arrangements and crushing intensity.
The accompanying music video captures Lost Society exactly as they are meant to be seen: raw, explosive and completely unfiltered, showcasing the band’s ferocious live energy and no compromises attitude.
Frontman Samy Elbanna shared his excitement about the release:
“Lost Society sounds HEAVY in the year 2026, and you are all about to experience it first hand. I loved every moment of writing this album and especially preparing the story that I’m singing to you all. Soon it will all be yours.”
A New Chapter Without Apologies
Created once again with longtime collaborator Joonas Parkkonen on production, co-writing and mixing, Hell Is A State Of Mind represents a defining moment for the band. From its opening moments, the album makes one thing clear: this is Lost Society fully embracing who they are, without chasing trends or holding anything back.
Following last year’s early taste, ‘Dead People Scare Me (But The Living Make Me Sick)’, ‘Blood Diamond’ confirms that Lost Society are entering a new era driven by intensity, conviction and total creative freedom.

To celebrate the release of Hell Is A State Of Mind, Lost Society will hit the road in March 2026 for a full European tour, covering the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Scandinavia.
Fans can expect a high-voltage set packed with new material, fan favorites and the band’s trademark adrenaline-fueled performance.
