Megadeth add new 2026 European dates to their farewell tour

'Megadeth' have announced six additional headlining shows for their highly anticipated 2026 farewell tour, giving fans across Europe more chances to see Dave Mustaine and company before the band steps away from life on the road. The new concerts join an already extensive list of dates supporting the release of their final studio album, Megadeth, scheduled to arrive on January 23, 2026 through Mustaine’s Tradecraft imprint, under the Frontiers Label Group’s BLKIIBLK banner.
The newly added headlining dates are as follows:
June 7, 2026 – Gelsenkirchen, Germany – Amphitheater
June 11, 2026 – Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – Rockhal
June 15, 2026 – Zurich, Switzerland – Halle 622
June 16, 2026 – Vienna, Austria – GasometerJ
une 23, 2026 – Istanbul, Türkiye – KüçükÇiftlik Park
June 28, 2026 – Almaty, Kazakhstan – Spartak Stadium

Pre-sales open on December 3 at 10am GMT / 11am CET, with general ticket sales launching on December 5 at the same times.
Beyond their newly announced shows, 'Megadeth' also have a packed run of festival appearances and headline dates planned for June 2026. Highlights include supporting 'Iron Maiden' in Hanover on June 2, as well as performances at major European festivals such as 'Graspop Metal Meeting', 'Hellfest', and 'Tuska'. Despite officially entering their “farewell era,” Dave Mustaine recently told Kerrang! that the touring cycle may extend far longer than fans might expect. According to him, this last chapter could continue for “another three to five years,” joking that by the time it ends, he’ll be hitting a birthday he would rather not think about.
