A newly resurfaced video has given fans a fascinating look at a lesser-known moment in the history of 'Black Sabbath'. The legendary metal pioneers are seen performing with a different vocalist, two years before Ozzy Osbourne made his official exit from the group.

Choosing between Paranoid and Heaven and Hell has divided the fan base for decades. Followers of 'Black Sabbath' often fall into two distinct camps: those who defend the classic era fronted by Ozzy, and those who champion the powerful chapter led by Ronnie James Dio, the singer who stepped in after the Prince of Darkness walked away from the band.

What many casual listeners forget is that Ozzy Osbourne had already quit once before. In 1977, during a period of growing internal tension, he decided to leave the band shortly before the recording sessions for their eighth studio album, 'Never Say Die!', were scheduled to begin.

Replacing Ozzy was no simple task, but the band turned to British vocalist Dave Walker, known for his past work with 'Fleetwood Mac', 'Savoy Brown', and several other notable groups. His brief stint with 'Black Sabbath' has remained one of the most obscure episodes in their history, in part because few recordings from that era ever surfaced.

Now, fans can finally watch a rare video of the band performing the intro of 'War Pigs' along with an early version of 'Junior’s Eyes', a track that would later appear on 'Never Say Die!', this time with Walker handling the vocal duties.

The footage offers a unique glimpse into a short-lived replacement era that very nearly took the band in a different direction.
